The objective of GSYSA is to implant firmly in girls of the community, the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority, so that they may be well adjusted, stronger and happier adolescents and will grow to be good, decent, healthy, and trustworthy citizens.

  To achieve this objective, we provide a supervised softball program for girls.  The program is implemented in a manner that demonstrates the value of hard work, self discipline, self sacrifice, extensive practice, cooperation with others and the enjoyment of the game.  All Directors, Officers, and Members bear in mind that the attainment of exceptional athletic skill or the winning of games is secondary, and the molding of future citizens is of prime importance.
